In pauzele publicitare dintre lavabilit, vopsit tocarie si zacusca am reusit sa mai fac niste brose cu floricele pe care le voi posta (cand gasesc timp)pe Breslo. Dar mi-am pastrat si eu o brosa de care nicum nu puteam sa ma despart.
During comercial breaks betwen painting walls, window frames and making pickels I managed to make some flower broches I'm going to post on Breslo(as soon as I find the time). But I saved one broch for myself. I just couldn't part with it.

In timp ce vopseam la tocarie mi-a venit o idee. Am gasit niste crengute pe care le-am vopsit crem pentru a atasa cateva florice de acestea.
Dar au iesit asa de fain ca se pot folosi ca si decoratiuni prin casa asa cum sunt.
Hello from the construction site. I'm going to do a post about this when everything is nice and finished.
I had an idea while i was painting the wood frames of the windows. I found some twigs and painted them cream because I wanted to attach some of my flowers to them.
But they turned so nice and simple on their own you can use them as decorations around the house.
A trecut mult timp de cand am postat prima oara. Fanii mei inexistenti sper ca se vor materializa pe viitor pentru o sa impartasesc ce am mai pus la cale in ultima vreme.

Mi-am cumparat anul trecut o masina de cusut relativ ieftina cu ocazia descoperirii hand-made-ului si a blogging-ului.
I bought myself a relatively cheap sewing machine last year as I just discovered hand-made stuff and blogging.
De mica eram interesata sa fac tot felul de lucruri si am zis ca acum ma pun serios de treaba. Dar nu s-a prea potrivit socoteala mea. Oricat de mult am incercat eu si masina de cusut (inca nu i-am dat nume si poate de aceea) nu ne intelegeam. Era ca o relatie sentimentala, pur si simplu nu mergea, nu era momentul.
Since I was a little girl I was interested in crafting and now was the time to work hard in making things with my own two hands. But my plans haven't worked that way. As much as I tried me and my sewing machine ( I didn't name it so maybe that was the problem) just didn't get along. It was just like a love affair it didn't work, the timing wasn't right.
Astfel a stat masina mea luni bune si a prins praf. Ma uitam la ea in fiecare zi si nu ma tragea sufletul sa ma apuc de treaba. Aproape ca imi era frica de ea pentru ca imi amintea de lipsa mea de indemanare. Si au trecut luni si hardiskul meu s-a umplut de tipare si tone de tips-uri on how to do stuff.
So for months my sewing machine became a dust catcher. I would look at it each day , but something was holding me back from begining to work with it. It was almost like I was scared of it because she made me remember and aknowledge my lacking skills. And severalmonths passed by and my hardisk kept getting fuller and fuller with patterns and tons of tutorials on how to do different stuff.

And at one point I decided to face my fears and to begin taking it slow with my sewing machine. I saw a Threadbanger episode for Valentine's Day featuring a tutorial from ClareBare. She has an Etsy shop selling hand made lingerie. So in this episode she showed how to make a pair of ruffly underwear.

my trusty assistant Praz(translated from romanian it means leek) a.k.a Taz
Tiparul de pe site e pentru marimea S, iar eu cum eu sunt big boned :) a trebuit sa modific putin tiparul in Autocad. Nu eu ci IT wiz Flo. In principiu mi-am luat masura la solduri si am impartit-o la 2, iar elasticul l-am masurat pe sold si coapse cat sa vina comod.
The pattern featured on the site was for size S and as I am big boned :) I had to modify it a bit. Well not actually me, my boyfriend Flo did it in Autocad. I basiclly measured my hips and diveded the measurement by 2. The elastic i used I measured on my hips and tighs to fit me confortable.
Si am inceput sa cos folosind cusatura elastica in zigzag. A mers asa usor chiar daca nu cos foarte drept ( am probleme de directie se pare) am fost multumita de ce a iesit. Voilá rezultatul!
And after I cut everythig I began sewing using a zigzag stich. The sewing went on very easy even if I don't sew very straight(direction problems) I was pleased on how it turned out. Here is the result!

I received an interesting message for Mothers Day (in Romania 8th of March is considered Woman's Day) from a good friend from university:
O femeie are forta sa surprinda un om! Poate controla certuri...poate sa duca sarcini grele! Mentine frumusetea, iubirea si opiniile. Surande cand ar trebui sa tipe, canta cand ar trebui sa planga, plange cand e bucuroasa si rade cand e speriata. Iubirea ei este incontrolabila... Unicul lucru gresit la ea, e ca de multe ori uita cat de mult "valoreaza".
A woman can surprise a person! She can contol arguments...she can face hard tasks! She maintains her beauty, her love and her opinions. She smiles when she should be screaming, she sings when she should be crying, she cries when she is happy and she laughs when she is scared. Her love is uncontrolable... The only wrong thing about her is that she often forgets how " valuable" she is.
